| Jesse Hill was raised in Southeastern Michigan. Through the family business he was exposed to rare examples of fine art, antiques and photography at an early age. In 1994, he developed his passion for photography during his University semester abroad. Backpacking across Europe and the Middle East, he found it possible to gain access to people and places that were off-limits without a camera in hand. Jesse moved to Los Angeles in 1998 after attending Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Upon his arrival he began shooting editorial and commercial assignments. Jesse's images, including portraits of Oscar® winning actors and Grammy® winning musicians, have appeared in publications including; Architectural Digest, Glamour, Rolling Stone and Time. In addition to shooting freelance assignments and private commissions, Jesse is the Co-Creative Director at The Kitchen Collaborative, an award-winning branding and design agency based in Los Angeles. |
